Luxury 1 bedroom apartment in La Menara Urbanisation in Vera Playa. This is a much sought after naturist urbanisation. The apartment is situated on the ground floor of a beautifully maintained complex. The complex has just had a complete update with all apartments painted. and a new pool liner along with new sunbeds for clients use. The apartment is fully equipped for a holiday or a long stay in this naturist area of Spain. The lounge has chaise long sofa with door to the private terrace and beautifully tended garden. The sideboard contains all types of glasses for your use. A bus timetable is in the apartment for your convenience. There is an electric hotplate for outside cooking. There is a marble preparation area on the terrace for the hotplate along with electric socket. It is preferable to use this than a coal bbq. Patio furniture and sunbeds provided.
In the sideboard you will find a shopping trolley for your use to shop on foot at the local supermarket. The kitchen and dining area and lounge are open plan. There is a new breakfast bar with stools added to give more workspace in the kitchen and a nicer eating area if you want to eat inside. The kitchen has fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, washing machine and all utensils to make this a home from home holiday. The bathroom has been newly renovated with large wetroom .
Casa Grace has recently been repainted in all rooms for a fresher feel. Towels are provided plus beach towels. Bed linen is also provided. As we let our apartment on a self catering basis there is a washing machine and airer to launder your linen and towels. One set of bed linen and towels will be left for you in the apartment . A hairdryer is available for your use. The bedroom has king size bed and fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and a safe for your security. Both the lounge and the bedroom have airconditioning/heating. UK TV and Satellite tv are installed giving you all uk tv channels, sky sports, sky channels, sky movies, video club of over 10000 films. Up to 28 day catch up so you dont miss your favourite programmes. A dvd player is also available for your use with a selection of videos. Spanish tv is also available to our guests.
WIFI (fibre optic) is also free for you to use in our apartment. You will find the code on the router beside the tv.
The Communal pool is 20m from the apartment. The apartment is suitable for those with walking difficulties. Private parking is in front of the apartment so not far to walk at all.
We do have a policy in the apartment that if there are items left in the cupboards you are welcome to use them but please be kind enough to replace for the next tenants. We do remove opened toiletries for hygiene reasons.
We ask please that you place all used laundry in the bathroom so that our cleaners know which items have been used so that they can launder them ready for our next guests.
A eurometer is installed in the apartment. 10.50 euros of electricity per week (on short term lets) will be provided but excess to this (airconditioning can use more) you will be required to place euros into the meter. On long terms lets tenants are respectfully asked to pay for all their electricity and water.
Myself or one of my family will meet you at Casa Grace with keys and Spanish contract. We will require passport copies please on arrival for all people over the age of 16. This is a legal requirement by the police on checkin. No copies no check in Im afraid. If you are arriving by bus from one of the airports it will normally drop you by a nearby supermarket (Consum). We dont expect you to walk from there so are happy to meet you there with your luggage and take you to our apartment. We will leave our telephone number with you so that you can contact us throughout your stay. Airport transfers can be arranged.
Our apartment in La Menara is perfectly situated for the Vera Playa naturist beach. It is approx 100 m walk from our urbanisation. Just outside the gates you have the popular Ooh ¨La La bar and restaurant serving meals and tapas. There are many beach bars serving drinks, cocktails and tapas as well as light meals. The Pirate Bar is a firm favourite with every one. Sol y Luna is another. A 6 minute (or less) walk will bring you to Hotel Street where there are bars (Spanish and English) restaurants ( Marias, Koa, Broadway and Frankies are firm favourites of ours) pizza restaurant and others. Further afield in the area known as Puerto Rey there is a lovely beach (non naturist) with many bars and restaurants overlooking the sea. Restaurant Laguna is another recommendation of ours as is the great Indian Restaurant Bombay Chapati. There is also a public pay as you use gym if required. Idyllic location. The new shopping complex behind Consum supermarket now has shops and a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants. This is a couple of minutes walk from the apartment.
Many people arrive by car and use our secure covered parking. The parking bay is allocated to our apartment so please only use the one shown as 5-1. There is a good bus service just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment (bus time table in the blue information folder for our guests) taking you to Vera Town Centre with many bars and restaurants and great Saturday market. The opposite direction is Garrucha, Puerto Rey, and Mojacar where you will find great bars restaurants and beaches (non naturist). Villaricos is another small fishing village with a large selection of typical spanish bars and restaurants and a great Sunday market.
